About Me: Hi everyone! I'm Seoin, a third year majoring in Molecular and Cell Biology. I first joined BSSA when I was a first year. In my free time, I love looking for new food spots with my friends, watching TV shows, playing my instrument, facetiming my high school friends etc. Looking forward to this school year with BSSA!

Jessica Ly Secretary

About Me: Hi! I'm Jessica, and excited to serve as your secretary in my final year. I'm passionate about research and actually enjoy spending hours in the lab -- feel free to reach out if you have any questions! After UCSD, I hope to pursue a PhD and end up somewhere in industry. I enjoy exploring new places to eat in SD, but I also find peace in making food at home. Outside of classes, I enjoy running and swimming. Fun fact about me, I live in Norway and speak fluent Norwegian.

Bella Balogh Mentorship Co-Chair

About Me: I’m a General Biology major with a minor in Chemistry at UC San Diego. I work as an undergraduate researcher in the Yeo Lab and have research experience at UCI and UPenn. Outside of the lab, I compete on UCSD’s Division I fencing team, serve as co-chair of the BSSA Mentorship Committee, and mentor students through several programs. I’m passionate about science, leadership, and community engagement, and I also volunteer with Every Child Plays, supporting children with autism.
